Welcome to the Fuquay-Varina High School Choral Department. The choral students at FVHS are committed to understanding and producing beautiful vocal music, and each choir performs a wide variety of musical styles spanning many cultures, languages and time periods.  They have developed a well-deserved reputation for excellence, and have received numerous superior ratings at festivals.  The choirs perform often in the local community and beyond.

In the spring of 2009, the advanced choirs participated the Heritage Elite Performance Series with the National Youth Choir at Carnegie Hall, in New York City.  The Chamber Choir, Women's Choir, Mixed Choir and Treble Choirs perform traditional choral literature.  FVHS Fusion and the Leading Ladies sing and dance to contemporary popular music. The curriculum for all choirs is based on the North Carolina Standard Course of Study and the National Standards for Music Education.
